Bead set sells for £600
At Kivells Live on Line Auction at Holsworthy on 14th June of Select Antiques & Collectables an Agate bead set of necklace, bracelet & brooch sold well above expectations to sell at the magnificent sum of £600. The same top bid of £600 from a Bidder in the USA secured the oriental Armorial dress panels painted on silk.
A large selection of Jewellery sold well with top price of £340 for an 18 carat gold diamond & emerald ring. An 18 carat gold & platinum diamond & ruby set ring sold at £230, a pair of 18 carat gold cufflinks £205, 9carat gold padlock clasp bracelet £170, 22 carat gold wedding band ring £125, an 18 carat gold diamond solitaire ring at £140, amber necklace £55, 4 x 9ct crucifixes £110 & a 9ct gold wrist watch at £110.
Among the silver a pair of 1904 Israel Sigmund Greenberg candlesticks sold at £180 a Boxing trophy cup £190, sugar castor £100, Christening mug £120, pair beakers £55, 6 coffee spoons £55, caddy spoon £42 & a pair of jam spoons £42.
A large selection of Copeland Spode Italian blue & white dinner & tea ware sold at £360, Moorcroft hibiscus plate £75, oriental tea bowls £100, swirl glass lampbase £140, mahogany tea caddy £100, miniature shoes & dolls £120 & wooden trunk & tools at £160.
In the furniture section a 10 foot long pine farmhouse kitchen table sold at £700, Painted pine dresser base £320, oak carver chair £120, oak corner wall cupboard £120 & a satinwood bedroom suite at £200.
