A huge crowd of potential buyers witnessed a real ‘Old fashioned Devon sale’ with everything from Granite to a hay cart and a kettle to a tractor!
Exeter Livestock Centre held its second machinery sale which witnessed an increase in lots plus also an increase in bidders and onlookers. Top price of the day was achieved by Mason Kings of Newton Abbot selling an John Deere 850 Gator which topped at £4,800 with a similar model, just a little older, selling to £3,350. MD & GJ Curtis of Crediton attained £2,000 for a McCormick front loader.

A fantastic line up of Tractors & Machinery saw a huge crowd of buyers in attendance from as far away as Northern Ireland, Birmingham, Wiltshire & West Cornwall. Leading the way was lot 202 being the 2010 John Deere 6330 reaching £29,100 going off to its new home near Tiverton.
The 25th Sale at Richard Sandercock’s Milford Fairground Heritage Centre took place on Saturday 21st October.
It was remarkable how cheerful everybody remained in the face pf appalling weather. The Car parking team did amazing work in safely parking the vehicles of the 1000 or so people who attended. It was fortunate most of the lots were under cover but nobody stayed in the dry when the big lots were to be sold!
