Another successful week for Kivells customers in this section with a top call of £1,180 for South Devon steers on behalf of Messrs Richardson.

Over 100 Prime & OTM Cattle forward this with Messrs McCowan of Torrington topping at £1370 in Holsworthy on Wednesday with premium on the day at 205p/kg for Adrian Bowden.

A huge entry of Store Cattle and Suckled Calves at our North Cornwall auction site this week with a further 606 at Exeter and 322 Beef animals at Holsworthy.

A massive crowd of over 350 perspective buyers travelled to Exeter on Tuesday from as far a field as Yorkshire, Birmingham and Wales and pushed the best of the 73 horses to a top call of £2000 for the pic of the Irish cob dispersal.  521 lots of saddlery topped at £130.

'Much improved' was the talk at the Hallworthy pony sale with a 96% clearance and a top call of £900 (x2).  Next Horse sale at Exeter on Tuesday 6th November will include yard dispersal of Irish Cobs.

1237 lots of Antiques & Household goods this week saw a top call of £2600 for a Staunton chess set, closely followed by £1,750 for 11 White Star Line Dinner plates.  Please remember our household auction every Tuesday at Holsworthy.

Over the last 10 days Kivells Auctioneers have sold 3,621 Beef and Dairy animals on behalf of customers from Hereford to Penzance.  A further 9,384 Sheep, 233 Pigs and 89 Horses have been sold by the team in the last few days!

During 2018 Kivells have had the pleasure of helping many charities throughout the UK.  We have helped raise £181,00 this year so far with still several auctions left to do.  The most recent events being £7,000 for CLIC Sargent, £6,000 for Lamerton Hunt and £2,800 for Devon Air Ambulance.

Auctioneers from Kivells Exeter and Holsworthy have had their talent and expertise recognised at the national Mart’s The Heart awards run by leading UK agricultural newspaper Farmers Guardian.
