The final consignment to disperse the Rockset herd on behalf of Robert & Heather Hugo of Bodmin drew a fantastic crowd from all over the country once again with buyers from Scotland, Wales, Yorkshire, Leicestershire & all over the Westcountry.
230 TB Cattle through the ring at Hallworthy saw a very competitive trade with 14 buyers present. Top call this month went to the Heifer section with Mr R Quinn of St Kew, seeing his first pen of strong Hereford x to £1180. Mr M Button of St Tudy was next in line with another Hereford x Heifer to £1125.

The South West Ayrshire Sale attracted great interest with buyers from as far as Carmarthen and new buyers from Somerset. Mark Evans sold a consignment of organic Ayrshires from his East Church herd in Honiton which attracted strong interest topping at 1850gns for a third calver "East Church Mad Marion VG85" by East Church Stans Rosinni, she sold to Mike Tizzard of Dorset who purchased 22 head.
The monthly Machinery Sale here at Exeter saw another increase in entries with a reasonable crowd pushing prices past vendor’s expectations. M Vooght of Bovey Tracey entered a MF 390T which attained £10,000, with a Fleming Topper of the same farm reaching £1,320.
~ 2,341 Lots sold to a top call of £13,500 on a day when over 1,000 potential purchasers came to town ~
~ A sun drenched sale field on the outskirts of Coads Green near Callington in South East Cornwall was the setting for the dispersal of 400 lots of unreserved goods on behalf of the Cottam family as well as various neighbours from the local area ~
