For an established farming business, housing two generations of a family on the farm can prove problematic when there is only one farmhouse. In this instance, a planning application can be submitted for the construction of an agricultural workers dwelling. A strong business case will need to be put forward with a planning application to prove the need for an additional dwelling on the farm.

The team at Kivells Liskeard are taking part in the Cornwall Relay For Life to raise funds for charity partner of the year, Cancer Research UK. After successful fundraisers from Kivells Callington and Bude offices so far this year, it is the turn of Liskeard to support this amazing cause.
Kivells can be traced back to 1885 when William Thomas Kivell set himself up in business as an auctioneer and land agent, first in Pyworthy and then in Holsworthy. Kivells is organised around five divisions, Agricultural sales and auctions (including the 3 livestock markets at Holsworthy, Hallworthy and Exeter and on farm sales throughout the Westcountry). Farm, Residential and Commercial Property (covering sales and lettings).
Staff at Kivells Bude office recently held a special charity quiz night to raise funds for Kivells Charity Partner of the Year, Cancer Research UK. The event took place at the Falcon Hotel in Bude and was attended by over 50 people from Bude and the surrounding communities.
