Kivells auctioneers were delighted to conduct the sale of gifts at the Majors Annual Dinner which took place at Royal Hotel Bideford. There were around 60 guests who enjoyed a wonderful 4 course dinner, after which Auctioneer James Morrish sold a number of lots to raise money for the Mayors Charity Asthma UK. A total of over £600 was raised for the charity that ends Clr Phil Pester year as Mayor of Bideford.

Applications opened at the beginning of February for grants worth up to £5,000 for farmers wishing to undertake boundary feature capital works. Works covered by the grant include stone walling, hedge laying and earth banking (please note that fencing is not included).
Kivells are delighted to announce we have chosen Macmillan Cancer Support as our 2016 charity partner.
We plan to take part in as many fundraising activities as possible this year to raise money for this great charity and will be encouraging our 177 members of staff across all offices and departments to support our events.
The RPA have now made payments to 70% of claimants for the 2015 scheme year, with more payments expected this weekend. If you have not heard anything from the RPA regarding your payment, we have been advised that you should be paid by the 31st January. If your payment is likely to be later than this, the RPA should be in touch to explain why the payment will be late and to give an expected payment date.
