850 lots were offered to a packed Auction Room and a worldwide audience Live On Line from Australia to Russia and the United States of America.

Furniture prices are still mainly in the doldrums with a few brighter signs of recovery including a large oak highly carved hall bench which saw spirited bidding go way past the guide to sell at the fantastic sum of £920. Other better prices included Globe Wernicke bookcase at £210, large homemade chest of multiple drawers £270, Pine chest £115, pair Ercol armchairs £100, G Plan coffee table £70 and dressing table £95  

In a Jewellery section of 180 lots an 18ct gold “In Memory” ring sold well at £200, 18ct gold  diamond solitaire ring at £250, 9ct gold padlock bracelet £135, 18k gold Omega ladies wristwatch £160, 9ct gold Rotary ladies wristwatch £90, 14k gold band ring £115 and an 8k face brooch at £120.

130 lots of silver & plate all sold to the enthusiastic buyers with a presentation cup at £200, 11 dinner forks £260, 6 serving spoons £170, miniature teapot £55, card case £95, miniature teddy bear shaker £75 and 6 Japanese Kozuka knives at £100.

Another helping of Beswick animals included an Arab grey stallion at £310, the racehorse Troy at £155, Hereford cow & calf £210, bull & calf £140 and a Leghorn cockerel at £130.

Other outstanding china prices were a William Moorcroft vase £400, Poole peacock pot £130 and a Foley Cameo Garland tea set at £400.

Among the collectables a Cleveland petrol pump globe sold for a surprising £460, Microscope slides chest of 25 drawers £520, Staunton chess set £620, trio of adjustable wall light fittings £500, 19thC pewter flagon £680, a set of Le Creuset pans £130, Jaeger Le Coultre floating hands clock £370, Newlyn copper tray £70, brass bound writing slope £115 and a bottle of Champagne Cognac by W J Ridge of Bideford sold for £95.
