A celebration of achievement for Kivells Agriculture
2019 has already brought success to Kivells Agriculture after a graduation celebration for Harper Adams University recognised academic achievement and excellence for one of the team.
Land Agent and Auctioneer Ian Caunter, from Kivells Exeter Agriculture Centre, took to the stage on 3 separate occasions. Ian was presented with an award for achieving the Certificate of Higher Education in Professional Studies: Livestock Market Operations and Management and the Fellowship of the Livestock Auctioneers Association (England and Wales). The ceremony was held on the 7th January at Harper Adams University in Edgmond, near Newport, in Shropshire, a specialist provider of higher education for the agricultural and rural sector. The ceremony was attended by Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. David Llewellyn. Dr Llewellyn welcomed the students and guests before an address from representatives of the Livestock Auctioneers Association and the Institute of Auctioneers and Appraisers in Scotland.
A delighted Ian said “It was a great course and I met some fantastic people at Harper Adams. I am delighted to have achieved my awards after all the hard work and was especially delighted to have been awarded the Gavel for top graduating student. We have an incredible team at Kivells and our expertise and knowledge in agriculture is second to none and we look forward to another hugely successful year.”
