Kivells continued their exceptional year of property and land auctions in July with the sale of the Land at Cranford in a packed auction room in Bideford.

The hugely anticipated auction took place at the Cranford Inn, Bideford, expertly conducted by Kivells Director David Kivell. Following an extensive marketing campaign, a tense and packed room of bidders saw the land sell for an amazing £436,000, roughly £10k per acre, and well in excess of the auction guide price of £300,000.

The land is perfectly situated in the glorious Devon countryside and included a super block of approximately 43.45 acres of productive arable and pasture land with three spacious enclosures and collecting pen located in the glorious Devon countryside.

Speaking after the auction, Kivells Director David Kivell said, “We saw a good crowd of buyers present with many very keen to purchase the land to extend their farming business. The hammer eventually came down at a splendid £10,300 per acre and was purchased by a local Dairy Farmer.”
