Weekly General & Household Auction Report

The second weekly sale of household goods & furniture of 2019 saw a very busy crowd pushing the best of the 327 lots to a top call of £390 given for a very nice table & 6 chairs on behalf of Messrs Fletcher of Woolsery near Bideford. The same good vendor hit £110 for a pine dresser and lot 1051 being the pine chest of draws at £90. Other lots included the wooden sideboard at £80 for Messrs McDonald of Ashwater with David Heard of Pancrasweek at 68 for a double bed and £65 for a mattress. Mrs Udale of South Molton hit £52 for her wardrobe with another from Messrs Wiffen of Iddesleigh at £52. Messrs Copps of Langtree had a nice run topping at £50 for his bookcase. Other interesting lots included an electric bike from Messrs Pearse of Kilkhampton at £70 and Messrs Wood of Thornbury at £32 for their deco lights.

 

Our sale of goods next week gets underway at 11am with 2 house clearances from both Stratton & Halwill Junction.

 

Viewing will be at 9am-11am on Tuesday (sale day) only. Deliveries on Monday from 9am-2:30pm. No viewing on Monday. Photos will be put on our website www.kivells.com during the week prior to sale.
