The team at Kivells Liskeard are taking part in the Cornwall Relay For Life to raise funds for charity partner of the year, Cancer Research UK. After successful fundraisers from Kivells Callington and Bude offices so far this year, it is the turn of Liskeard to support this amazing cause.
The relay is a team fundraising event spanning 24 hours, where team members take in turns to walk around a track. Fundraising takes place across the year before everyone unites for the relay celebration on the 26th and 27th May.
Kivells can be traced back to 1885 when William Thomas Kivell set himself up in business as an auctioneer and land agent, first in Pyworthy and then in Holsworthy. Kivells is organised around five divisions, Agricultural sales and auctions (including the 3 livestock markets at Holsworthy, Hallworthy and Exeter and on farm sales throughout the Westcountry). Farm, Residential and Commercial Property (covering sales and lettings). Professional and Valuation work (including surveys, property management, rent reviews and full project management).
Staff at Kivells Bude office recently held a special charity quiz night to raise funds for Kivells Charity Partner of the Year, Cancer Research UK. The event took place at the Falcon Hotel in Bude and was attended by over 50 people from Bude and the surrounding communities.
The fun-filled evening was enjoyed by all, but that didn’t prevent some friendly competition as the quiz began to hot up. The winning team, Me, Thee, You and Tother, clinched first place by a single point!
Kivells is pleased to welcome two new members of staff to the office in Launceston, which strengthens the team ahead of what is expected to be a busy 2018.
Jessica Smith joins the lettings team, complementing the existing team members, and supporting whilst our lettings manager, Jo Weight, enjoys maternity leave with her new daughter Verity.
Also joining the team is Laura Wilson, providing support and assistance to the ever growing workload of the professional department, covering both urban and rural property.
Staff at Kivells Callington are locking their sweets away to raise funds for Kivells Charity Partner of the Year Cancer Research UK. The idea coincides with the Cancer Research UK ‘Sugar Free February’ campaign where the public are encouraged to give up sugar for the month.
The competition, running in Kivells Callington office from the 1st to the 28th February, invites members of the community to guess how many sweets have been locked away, for a minimum donation of £1 and a chance to win 2 bottles of champagne and the jar of sweets.
Kivells Property and Professional Services are delighted to be supporting Cancer Research UK as their charity partner for 2018. Preparations are already underway for a range of fundraising activities across the year from staff, and the communities, of Liskeard, Callington, Launceston, Holsworthy, Hallworthy, Bude and Exeter
