We are looking for an additional Livestock Handler to join our busy team at Hallworthy Livestock Market, with an immediate start available.
Working as part of our Livestock Handlers Team, your duties will include:
• Loading and unloading livestock, including cattle, stirks and sheep
• Assisting with the safe and efficient movement of stock throughout the market
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Previous experience handling livestock
• A sound knowledge of the agricultural sector
• A strong commitment to animal welfare
• The ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team
Working Hours
This is a zero-hours contract role, primarily working mornings and afternoons at our weekly Thursday market.
Additional midweek hours may be available when we hold extra markets or to support operations at our other livestock market locations.
