We are looking for a full time or part time Marketing Executive to join our busy team based at either the Exeter Livestock Centre or the Holsworthy Livestock Market.
Primarily working on the agricultural side of our business, which consists of our Livestock Market, Machinery Sales and Rural Professional Departments, the successful candidate will be responsible for marketing our business via digital and traditional marketing methods whilst also developing and implementing new ways and ideas to best promote our business.
This is an exciting and varied opportunity for someone with a strong marketing background. Experience of working within the agricultural sector is an advantage.
We are looking for a candidate who has a sound knowledge of end to end marketing strategy, has demonstrable experience of writing content and promotion via social media platforms as well as experience of more traditional marketing methods. Strong project management skills will be required with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, along with a creative attitude and the ability to come up with fresh new ideas for our marketing strategy including promotional analytics. A full UK driving licence and own vehicle will be required.
Duties will include (non-exhaustive):
· Create and run social media and e-marketing content and campaigns that are engaging, grow followers and drive business opportunities
· Undertake the management of the company website ensuring content is up to date - maximising opportunities by data analytics
· Source and supply analytics to auctioneering team to assist winning instructions
· Create and promote news articles for the company
· Writing, proofreading and creating leaflets, brochures and other marketing materials and liaising with designers and printers as required
· Create adverts for local, regional and national press and magazines
· Attend company shows and sales as required to promote marketing activity
· Develop and implement annual marketing plans and strategies
· Monitor and improve search engine optimisation
· Monitor and improve traffic to Kivells’ website
· Review and promote brand image
· Administer and control the marketing and advertising budget for the agricultural business

Full time working hours are 8.45am until 5.00pm Monday to Friday with some weekend working for additional sales and shows. However, part time will be considered for the right candidate (working a minimum of three days per week).
