Herd Averages & management:
The herd is milked twice daily through a Herringbone Parlour and are Cubicle Housed. The Cows are grazed throughout the summer months and were partly out wintered feeding on stubble turnips, they are very good at producing milk from forage.
The herd is NMR recorded with the following annual average:

This is a young herd with 52 milking heifers, 20 second, 31 third, 25 fourth and 32 fifth plus calver, 4 In Calf Heifers & 2 Pedigree Aberdeen Angus bulls.
Herd Health:
The herd is not vaccinated but monitored negative for Lepto, BVD & IBR as well as screened low for Johnes. The herd is annually TB tested with the latest whole herd test on 16th June 2026.
