An important evening meeting for farmers with a panel of experts identifying areas of potential opportunity as well as challenges over the coming months and years.
Tom Rattray, Director at Kivells, specialises in all aspects of rural agency and professional work. Tom will be outlining this year’s opportunities under the Farming Equipment and Technology Fund, the Sustainable Farming Incentive and the 2026 stand-alone Capital Grant window.
Phil Kirkpatrick, Head of Exeter Rural at Old Mill, and Kathy Ferris, Rural Adviser, will be identifying a number of both very current and longer term tax issues facing farmers, alongside the real opportunities for Research and Development (R&D) in farming, both of which can make a significant impact on cash flow, your bottom line and long-term success.
Pete Tomsett, Business Development Director HSBC UK Agriculture, and Paul Blundell, Relationship Director HSBC UK Agriculture, will discuss the financial and economic challenges facing UK Farming and in particular farm cashflows in the coming year. They will also consider the longer-term changes to the sector and the potential opportunities and challenges these present.
Questions and answers will be welcome at the end with a buffet supper to follow.
