Current Vacancies 

  • PA to Director

    Departments:  Agriculture & LivestockProfessional Services
    Office:  Holsworthy Agribusiness Centre

    Based at our Holsworthy Livestock Market we are recruiting a PA to a Director to assist within our busy Agricultural and Professional Departments. This is a mutli-faceted and varied role which will assist in all areas of our business including livestock auctioneering and sales, farms & land sales, estate agency, professional services such as RICS Red Book valuations and also assisting in promotional events such as agricultural shows and events. 

    The role: The role includes supporting a Director and Fieldsmen with the day to day running of the business. This will include, but not be limited to, audio and non-audio typing, email management, preparation of letters, reports and comprehensive files and diary/calendar management. As part of the Dairy Team, the successful candidate will also assist the Dairy Secretary by taking entries for dairy sales, typing and preparation of dairy catalogues and possibly attend the livestock markets to assist on sale days. 

    The role will also involve carrying out other general administration duties for the Agricultural and Farms/Professional Departments including assisting clients both face to face, via the telephone, emails and letters. 

    The successful candidate must be computer literate, have a fast accurate typing speed (at least 50 words per minute), possess excellent communication skills and be able to meet strict deadlines. The role will include handling sensitive and confidential information, so confidentiality is paramount. Must have excellent customer service skills, a methodical nature, and the ability to prioritise and work well under pressure.

  • Rural Chartered Surveyor

    Kivells is a progressive regional firm of rural chartered surveyors, well established throughout Devon and Cornwall. This role is based at the Exeter Livestock Market to service our established client base in Devon and Cornwall, as part of the role the successful candidate will work alongside chartered surveyors, auctioneers, and farm agents.
